Following the 8th Reporting and Election Conference of the Azerbaijan Society of Appraisers (AQC), held on May 3, the first meeting of the Society’s Board was convened.
AQC Chairman Vugar Oruc announced that the first post-conference meeting of the Supervisory and Audit Commission (SAC) had already taken place and that Namig Mammadov was elected as the Chairman of the Commission. The Chairman also presented the draft "Regulations Governing the Activities of AQC's Supreme Bodies," which was unanimously approved by the Board members.
Additionally, the Chairman’s decree on the new composition of AQC leadership was unanimously approved. Farid Rustamov was appointed First Deputy Chairman of AQC, while Azer Niftiyev, Nail Hashimov, and Ibrahim Guliyev were appointed Deputy Chairmen. Rufat Aliyev was named Head of the AQC Executive Office, and Orkhan Hasanov, Eldar Tahmazov, and Irada Shukyurova were appointed as Advisors to the Chairman.
During the meeting, important discussions were held regarding AQC’s future directions and several key decisions were made. It was resolved that cooperation with government institutions, international organizations, financial entities, business stakeholders, associative unions, civil society institutions, and mass media would be continued.
In recognition of the active participation of their representatives in the 8th Reporting and Election Conference, it was decided that letters of appreciation would be sent on behalf of the Board to Minister of Justice Farid Ahmadov, Chairman of the Central Bank Taleh Kazimov, Chairman of the Judicial-Legal Council Inam Karimov, and Chairman of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) Orkhan Mammadov.
