AQC supports youth career development at UNEC forum
The Azerbaijan Society of Appraisers (AQC) actively participated in the First International Forum of Universities and Employers, jointly organized by Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) and the State Employment Agency. During the event, AQC Chairman Vuqar Oruc emphasized the importance of university-industry collaboration and the role of such partnerships in preparing youth for the professional world.
Vuqar Oruc stated that each year, AQC engages nearly 100 UNEC students in internships across various fields. A significant majority of these students are later employed full-time within member companies of the Society based on their successful performance during the internship period. He highlighted that the effective cooperation between UNEC and AQC plays a vital role in enhancing students' professional skills and helping them adapt to real work environments.
The AQC Chairman also underlined the forum’s significance as a platform for strengthening ties between higher education institutions and employers. He noted that such initiatives ensure students are better prepared for the demands of the labor market. Oruc praised UNEC students for their strong practical skills and professionalism and expressed optimism about expanding this collaboration in the coming years.
These initiatives by the Azerbaijan Society of Appraisers make a valuable contribution to both the development of young professionals and the formation of a skilled workforce in the field of valuation in the country.
