Vuqar Oruc: “Large-Scale Initiatives Are Being Implemented to Train Young Appraisers”
Significant steps are being taken in Azerbaijan to train young professionals in the field of valuation and enhance their professional skills. Vuqar Oruc, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Society of Appraisers, provided this information.
According to him, under cooperation agreements signed with Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) and Baku Eurasian University, hundreds of students undergo internship programs every year in appraisal companies that are members of the Society. “During these internships, students become acquainted with the core principles and intricacies of professional valuation activities,” said Vuqar Oruc.
He also noted that a scientific-methodological council has been established within the Society to strengthen the theoretical and practical knowledge of young appraisers. This council includes faculty members from prestigious universities and experts specialized in the field of valuation. The council will regularly organize professional development courses and will also publish the scientific journal of the Azerbaijan Society of Appraisers.
“In addition, cooperation agreements have been signed with valuation organizations from several foreign countries. It is planned to create opportunities for young appraisers to gain experience and improve their knowledge abroad. Efforts are also underway to attract sponsorship support in this direction,” Vuqar Oruc added.
He emphasized that it is especially important for young specialists to attend courses in Russia, Belarus, Turkey, and Central Asian countries in order to gain international experience. At the same time, experts from these countries are also interested in participating in knowledge and experience exchange in Azerbaijan.
Vuqar Oruc believes that these initiatives are highly significant in terms of training young appraisal professionals and ensuring their professional development.
