AQC officials met with the head of the QHT Agency and AKIA.

A meeting was held between Aygun Aliyeva, executive director of the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Vugar Oruj, chairman of the Azerbaijan Society of Appraisers. The leaders of both institutions participated in the meeting.

The chairman of the AQC informed about the society's meeting held in May and said that important decisions were made at the report-election meeting. Declaring that the society intends to expand its relations with state institutions, associative organizations, non-governmental organizations and press bodies, V. Oruj spoke about the future importance of cooperation with the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations.

The executive director of the agency, Aygun Aliyeva, informed the AQC officials about the activities of the agency headed by her. He noted that the activity of civil society institutes is one of the priority directions announced by the state administration. Talking about the complex reforms implemented by Mr. President Ilham Aliyev in Azerbaijan in recent years, the executive director said that these reforms have opened wide opportunities for civil society institutes.

AQC Chairman Vugar Oruj called it necessary to increase the role of non-governmental organizations in the direction of forming a transparent and healthy environment between the state and the public, and emphasized that the institution he heads is always ready to show support. Elnur Bagirli, head of the Agency's department, Farid Rustamov and Parviz Gholami, members of the Board of Directors of AQC, also spoke at the meeting.

In the end, a Working Group was created to ensure the increase of cooperation opportunities between the Agency and the AQC. The group, which includes officials from both sides, has been tasked with preparing a document that will include future directions of action between the Agency and the AQC.

Later, a meeting was held between the chairman of the Azerbaijan Appraisal Society (AQC) Vugar Oruj and the officials of the AQC and the management of the Agrarian Credit and Development Agency (AKIA) under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

At the meeting, mutual and beneficial cooperation, as well as opportunities for coordinated action in relevant directions, were discussed in accordance with the areas of activity of the parties within their powers.

The participants of the meeting, headed by Seymur Movlayev, chairman of the Agrarian Credit and Development Agency, and Vugar Oruj, chairman of the Azerbaijan Appraisal Society, decided to further develop existing relations and continue business meetings. A broad exchange of views on future directions of action was held. Ramil Osmanli, Farid Rustamov and Parviz Gulami, members of the Board of Directors of AQC, also spoke at the meeting.
