A new head has been appointed to the Legal Department of the Azerbaijan Society of Appraisers (ASA). The relevant order was signed by ASA Chairman Vugar Oruc. Fuad Khazani oglu Mammadov has been appointed as the head of the department.
Fuad Mammadov was born in 1985 in Baku. He graduated from the National Aviation Academy, majoring in International Law, and has worked in various government agencies and private sector organizations. Over the years, he has held senior positions at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, and the Ministry of Culture (as an advisor to the Minister). Most recently, he served as the Head of the Legal, Human Resources, and Documentation Department at the State Service under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that the Legal Department of ASA is responsible for protecting the rights of appraisers and citizens, ensuring sound legal decision-making, and maintaining compliance with relevant legislation. The department’s main functions include addressing legal issues faced by appraisers in their professional activities, reviewing appeals, providing legal assistance, and promoting legal awareness in this field. The department aims to make the legal environment in the valuation sector more transparent and compliant with the rule of law.
